At Spacework, we follow a considered and collaborative process that transforms ideas into purposeful, beautifully executed interiors. Our approach is structured around six key project phases, ensuring clarity, consistency, and quality from start to finish.

How we work

We collaborate closely with our clients, understanding their goals, brand identity, operational needs, and aspirations for the space. Through site visits, client meetings, and outlining project timelines and budgets, we build the foundation for a clear project brief.

In this phase, we explore the creative direction and test its feasibility. We develop mood boards, space plans, and early concept visuals to establish the look, feel, and function of the design. We also review site conditions, budgets, and timelines to ensure the vision is both inspiring and achievable.

With the concept defined, we begin to refine and detail the design. This includes the development of interior architecture, bespoke joinery, materials, lighting, and FF&E schemes. We create 3D visuals, finish palettes, and sample boards, presenting a cohesive design that is aligned with the project goals.

We prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications required for pricing, approvals, and construction. This includes documentation for joinery, finishes, lighting, FF&E, and OS&E. During this phase, we also manage the procurement of all specified items, overseeing supplier coordination, budgeting, order placement, and logistics.

We remain actively involved throughout the build. We conduct site visits, review progress, respond to technical queries, and ensure the design is implemented accurately. Our team also manages delivery and installation of all FF&E and OS&E elements, ensuring everything arrives on time and to standard.

As the project nears completion, we focus on the final layer, styling the space, inspecting for quality, and resolving any last-minute issues. We walk through the finished interior with you, ensuring every element performs as intended and every detail is in place for a smooth handover.
